Built from inside the RTSM vendor.
Luis Rodriguez Consulting is a solo practice with a deliberately narrow focus: the integration layer between RTSM and EDC. No generalist sprawl, no junior teams — the person who scopes the work is the person who delivers it.
Five years on the vendor side. The same integrations now keeping your team up at night.
Luis spent five years at Suvoda — one of the industry's leading RTSM platforms — designing and delivering RTSM–EDC integrations across oncology, CNS, and rare disease studies. The path ran from Technical Consultant, to Integration Solutions Lead, to RTSM Systems Delivery Lead: progressively more responsibility for the seam where two systems have to agree.
That vantage point is the whole point of this practice. After enough mid-study amendments, compressed UAT windows, and "whose-problem-is-this" calls, a pattern becomes obvious: the integration is critical to every trial, and it's almost never owned by someone who has built one. Sponsors and CROs are left coordinating a connection they don't have the vendor-side depth to interrogate.
Luis Rodriguez Consulting exists to be that owner — on demand, for one study or a whole portfolio — without absorbing more of your week than the problem deserves.
Senior-led, vendor-neutral, alongside your team.
The brand voice is the working voice: plain language, specific nouns, opinions held lightly. No vendor theatre, no hedging.
I sit alongside the work, not in front of it
Your team keeps the sponsor and vendor relationships and the credit. I'm the specialist in the room, not a layer between you and your study.
Vendor-neutral by design
No platform affiliation and no resale incentive. Findings reflect what the study needs — even when that's "this spec is fine, the amendment is what will hurt."
Deliberately small
Concurrent engagements are capped so the work stays senior-led and responsive. You get the person with the vendor-side scars, not a hand-off.
Fixed scope, early escalation
Clear SOWs with explicit out-of-scope items and a change-order process. Issues surface in week one, not at go-live.
What I don't do is as clear as what I do.
A narrow scope is a feature. It keeps engagements inside a solo delivery capacity, keeps the expertise deep rather than wide, and means you always know exactly what you're buying.
Not a generalist clinical consultant
I don't advise on protocol design, monitoring, or broad clinical operations.
Not a CRO
I don't run your study or manage your data managers. I support the integration seam within it.
Not an RTSM or EDC implementer
I don't build or configure the platforms themselves. I review, test, and de-risk the connection between them.
To be the independent integration specialist that biotech and pharma trust to make their RTSM and EDC systems work together — reliably, on time, and without the data-quality issues that derail trials.
